Rare Tea Chicago

Excellent boba, I've never had a bad drink here. Boba texture is pleasantly chewy. Worth a stop over most of the other boba places in Lakeview! I recommend the grape tea or anything with rose jam.

First time trying this place and I was very impressed! Great menu selection. The staff were very nice. I ordered the strawberry berry snow cream and it was 10/10! Fresh strawberry chunks, not too sweet but flavorful! I would highly recommend trying it! The only negative thing I have to say is all of the photos show cute square cups and they only use regular cups, aesthetically a little disappointing. Other than that, would highly recommend checking this place out.

It’s WILD how good this place is. I’ve been literally dozens of times, always amazing. Haven’t missed once on something off the menu, but faves for sure are Rose Matcha with snow cream, Mango Green Tea both original and Passion Fruit. Staff is always so helpful as I bumble my way through trying something new .

Nice boba! We came here yesterday and tried the okinawa milk tea with boba and rose spring tea with crystal boba and caramel pudding. I always get my tea with less sweet and less ice, and they did a great job. There’s a lot of variety on the menu, the staff are friendly, and the cafe itself is nice and clean. Overall, I really enjoyed my drink!

Recently visited Rare tea. Ordered a variety of beverages including the Mango Smoothie, Duo Grape Tea, Pineapple Smoothie, and Lychee Smoothie. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Duo Grape Tea, which left a lasting impression on my taste buds. The service at Rare Tea was prompt and attentive.

I forget the name of my fancy boba tea but it tasted so yummy and I def wanna go back and try more flavors!!! Fast, friendly, professional service. Clean and delightful space!!

Very nice space! The drinks are yummy, the employees are very nice but the space is small. They make very good use of what space they do have but it is pretty cramped. I'd love for them to carry some snacks or just some pre-packaged cookies. Overall, nice Boba place.

I'm already obsessed with this place. I literally live next door and was so excited we were getting a Boba nearby. It feels like this business is family owned, all the staff is warm and inviting and very eager to help everyone choose the best tea. I get the coffee milk Boba, it's delicious. Not overly sweetened, and not too bold on the coffee flavor. My husband gets the lychee boba, it's phenomenal. If you're looking for a good Boba/Tea spot, come check this place out, the customer service is amazing, and the teas/drinks are perfectly balanced.
